Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren't loading properly. I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I've tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.
How can I configure my PC to be remotely accessible for 5 days every 9 days without risking damage or power loss?
I need to access my PC from a different location for 5 days every 9 days, but I don't know how to turn it on remotely if it is shut down. I have heard that using sleep mode and wake on LAN can enable remote access, but I am concerned that someone might accidentally turn off the power switch or cause a power outage, which could harm the PC. I have two options in mind:
- Set the PC to enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and use task scheduler to restart it every day at 5am.
- Leave the PC on all the time and use task scheduler to restart it periodically.
